Weekly Prayer Chain
Count Zinzendorf established a Christian colony on his estate
in Herrnhut, Germany hoping for a utopian atmosphere of love and
tranquility. By 1727, he came to realize his vision had crumbled
before him into a mess of strife, spiritual emptiness, and increasing
carnality. He even gave testimony that he saw no evidence of salvation
or of the Spirit in the lives of the children in his own Bible
class. Deeply burdened, he organized a prayer chain, and directed
the people to look to God to pour out His Spirit's power upon
them. After several months of intense searching, God met with
them in August 1727. The results of that meeting cannot be measured.
One hundred missionaries were sent out to evangelize every known
country at the time. John and Charles Wesley were among their
converts! A prayer chain for revival was established around the
clock that lasted for the next 100 years! Consider the great missionary
movements that took place between 1727-1827! Oh the power of prayer!
It's wonderful to remember back to the great work of God in answer
to the prayers of the Moravians, but the Lord declares, "Remember
ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth..."
(Isaiah 43:18-19) God desires to manifest His power in the present
tense! Then why doesn't He? Verse 22 reveals the answer, "But
thou has not called upon me...thou hast been weary of me."
We must call upon the Lord for this desired blessing.
We have become convinced that the Spirit of God desires to showcase
His glorious power in the little city of Pine Bluffs, WY. In September
2008 we began to prepare for this marvelous work of God, tilling
the soil with much prayer and fasting, planting the Gospel seed
throughout the city, and circling the city with faith, prayer,
and patience. We sense the clouds of God's mercy are gathering,
and we are looking to assemble a team of Spirit-filled intercessors
to cry out to God.

God is seeking to glorify His name; the more people who begin
to seek God for this work, the more prayers are heaped up before
the prayer-answering God. When He breaks through (and He will),
His glory is magnified and multiplied in the number of prayers
He has answered and in the growing faith amongst so many of His
children.
Will you join us in this growing cry unto the Lord? Will you
become a link in an unbroken chain of intercession to God for
Pine Bluffs, WY? If so, please sign
